March’s Cold, Wind and Snow = Blue Skies!

The only consolation about March’s chilly temperatures was the beautiful blue of the sky that came with each frigid day. I suspect, too, that the rain and snow that fell from the skies through March cleared out dust and dirt, leaving a clean view through the atmosphere. The sky was a silvery blue and, one day, had a touch of lavender in it.

The picture at the top of this post clearly shows the gradation of blues that spanned from the horizon to straight overhead. In the series of pictures below, I moved the camera – in increments – from the horizon at the treeline to directly overhead in five shots. Enjoy the ever deepening blues!
