When I was out today shooting more foliage pictures at the pond, I saw a large bird land in a nearby tree. I’ll guess it was eighteen inches from crown to tail tip. It sat for twenty minutes. Though there was much interference, primarily from branches, between my camera and the bird, here are two shots that are pretty good. I’m almost certain this is a red-tailed hawk as I see them often soaring above the pond. But if you know better, please comment!
